Why setting up an online store is a “great ordeal” (and why I would do it again)

Spoiler: It's not easy. But it's deeply mine.

If you're reading this, you've probably seen a Nuvola Moments candle, or someone has told you about our scents.
What you probably don't know is what's behind it all. Not just the candles, but this online store as well.

I'm going to tell you an uncomfortable truth;

Setting up an online store in Spain is a real headache.

Yes, I've said it. And I stand by it.

Why does it hurt so much?

Because there are things that nobody tells you when you decide to undertake something with soul:

Paying taxes as if you were a large company (when you're just doing everything yourself)

Dealing with platforms, shipping, delays, minimal margins, and algorithms that don't favor you

Create consistent content while managing orders and answering messages

Choosing between sleeping or preparing an urgent wedding order

Juggling suppliers, beautiful and eco-friendly packaging, and maintaining an impeccable aesthetic

All this without losing the smile… or the faith.

So why do I do it?

Because when Cristina writes to me:

"This candle calms me. It's very me."

Or when Martatells me:

“From the moment I turn it on, I set aside 10 minutes just for myself.”

Or when Lauratags me saying:

"This gift was a total success. She was very excited."

That's when everything makes sense.

Because this isn't just about selling candles.
It's about creating, that's it, creating atmospheres, giving away emotions, stopping time for a moment. That's what makes me happy.

Nuvola was born from the desire to create moments.

Small. Intimate. With soul.

I didn't come here to compete with Amazon.
I came to remind you that what is artisanal, slower, and authentic... still has value.
